ANTOINE AYOTTE – CEO & MANAGING PARTNER

With over 12 years of relevant experience to the organization, Antoine leads the firm's acquisition and new market development. He is responsible for overseeing the due diligence and acquisition of all new projects and manage the operations. Previously, Antoine has spent over 6 years in Realterm Global, co-founding its energy division and managing the various initiatives of the group in renewable energies. Realterm is an infrastructure developer with over USD $2.5bn portfolio under management. Antoine also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grant Thornton and co-founded startups Visio Energy and Real-Flex Business Parks which were actively involved in developing rooftop solar PV systems for the Ontario Feed-in Tariff market. Antoine is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA/CA) and holds a graduate degree in accounting from Sherbrooke University.

 

NEIL FRANKEL – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr. Frankel brings over 25-years of experience to the organisation. He is responsible for taxation, treasury, insurance, debt compliance and investor reporting activities. He has been within Realterm group since 1995 as an executive vice-president and chief financial officer. Previously, Mr. Frankel spent six years as an Auditor with BDO Dunwoody. Mr. Frankel received his BS from Concordia University.

ALEX ROSS, CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Mr. Ross is a power engineer specialized in renewable energy generation bringing a strong technical background of over 10 years in renewable energy (namely solar, hydroelectric, hydrokinetic, biomass). Mr. Ross took part into projects ranging from 150 kW to 40 GW, on all continents.

In the early days of the Spanish solar PV market (2007), Mr. Ross was part of the R&D team for a dual-axis 10.5kW solar with Soltec Renewable Energies. Since then, Mr. Ross have been involved in hydroelectric plant design, layout, energy modeling and engineering such as the largest hydroelectric project in the world, The Grand Inga Project (40 GW) with EDF/AECOM. He also took part into the development and installation of the 1st riverine hydrokinetic turbine (250kW) in the St-Lawrence River with RER Hydro. Passionate about renewable energy generation, Mr. Ross is an engineer that focuses on optimising the different energy generation systems; insuring an optimal power output and revenue for projects’ stakeholders. Mr. Ross holds an engineering degree from Sherbrooke University.
